Installation: Uses: It is often common that the weighbridge and other security points are located away from the main cashing office within a scrap yard. To add security and enhance user experience and scrap yard throughput we have developed a mobile based application that will contactlessly read the Verifi’iD unique id cards, and display an image of the scrap man on screen along with name and ID validation status. This will be useful for: Enhanced Security Check at the gate Check at the weighbridge (if ID is not valid the scrap man can be instructed of this before he begins trading his scrap). Installation: The software can be downloaded by clicking the download button below. IT will run on any Android device with NFC technology. The Android device requires an operating system of Ice-cream Sandwich or greater. We recommend the Google Nexus range of products specifically the Nexus 7 tablet.
